PRECIS

Designing a watch is like sculpting time itself— every detail must honor both the fleeting and the eternal.

In a world of rounded conventions, PRECIS chose the edge.
Born from a fascination with geometry, structure, and proportion, our watches redefine what it means to measure time — transforming it into an expression of form and intent.

About Us

PRECIS is an exercise in reduction. Based in Jaipur-a city with a legacy of deliberate craft- we operate with a singular intent: to strip away the non-essential until only the enduring remains. We believe that the most meaningful objects are not those that shout for attention, but those that quietly command it.

We do not follow the frenetic pace of the fashion calendar. Instead, we work at a considered rhythm, releasing limited series only when they have been refined to their purest state. In a culture obsessed with upgrades and milestones, PRECIS chooses permanence. Our timepieces are not designed for the shelf or the safe; they are built for the reality of life.

Ultimately, PRECIS is a celebration of independent taste. It is for those who understand that true sophistication is not found in excess, but in the quality of what remains. We create for the quiet moments as much as the defining ones—crafting a companion that reflects the journey of the person who wears it.

For me, watches have always been about the feeling of the wearer rather than the gaze of the observer. For a long time, I searched for a timepiece that felt striking, yet personal enough for daily wear. I wanted a piece that didn’t just sit in a box for special occasions, but one that actually got better the longer I lived with it. When I couldn’t find that balance, I decided to create it.

Our studio in Jaipur is grounded in a legacy of mastery, and that atmosphere shapes our rhythm. We don’t chase trends because trends are designed to expire; instead, we prioritize consistency. Every edge, weight, and texture is tested against a simple metric: Would I wear this every day, for the rest of my life? If a detail feels forced, it is removed. If a design creates friction, it does not leave the studio.

My hope is that a PRECIS watch becomes more than just an acquisition. I want it to be a companion you rely on—measured not by the statement it makes to the world, but by how right it feels to you.
