PHILOSOPHY OF SUBTRACTION
PRECIS is an independent boutique watch house dedicated to the art of subtraction. We pursue the discipline of what endures. Our process is one of refinement: removing excess until only the essential remains.
A timepiece, we believe, commands attention through the confidence of its own geometry. A witness to your substance, an accomplice to the pursuit of what matters to you.
CORUNDUM BLUE
Named for the resilience of the stones that define it, the Corundum Blue is a study in calculated geometry. Its striking octagonal silhouette captures the same interplay of shadow and light found in the celestial instruments of Jaipur’s legacy.
We obsessed over the dialogue between textures; the way brushed steel transitions into mirror-polished edges, and how the dial’s rhythmic chevron tapestry shifts as you move. With its integrated bracelet, Corundum Blue doesn’t just sit on the wrist-it settles in, becoming a silent constant in your pursuit.

FROM OUR FIRST PATRONS
"If it keeps catching your eye long after you’ve worn it, that’s your cue. The kind of piece that redefines what value feels like. This piece effortlessly outclasses the usual Japanese and Swiss suspects in this bracket."
Madhav Chauhan
"The watch has something addictive about it. You check the time and then end up staring at the dial for a few seconds longer than necessary. I am barely taking it off my wrist."
Lakshya Modi
"There’s a certain satisfaction in knowing it isn’t borrowing its identity from anywhere else. The octagonal case makes that clear. It gave me this sense of confidence, like I was in on something thoughtfully made rather than just wearing another familiar design."
Divyansh Sharma
"I didn’t expect to feel this way about a watch in this price range. The finishing, the weight, the way it sits on the wrist, it genuinely feels like something that belongs a tier higher."
