Return Policy
This Return and Warranty Policy applies to all purchases made from PRECIS, operated by JAIPUR CALIBERS (“PRECIS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
- LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
PRECIS warrants that your timepiece shall be free from manufacturing defects and mechanical malfunctions for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase, subject to the terms set out below.
1.1 Warranty Coverage:
This limited warranty covers defects in:
- Mechanical movement;
- Hands;
1.2 Warranty Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches on the case, sapphire crystal, bezel, clasp, or buckle;
- Straps and bracelets (leather, metal, rubber, or fabric), including wear, stretching, discoloration, or damage caused by usage;
- Accidental damage, mishandling, negligence, impact, dropping, or improper use;
- Water damage resulting from failure to properly secure the crown or exceed stated water-resistance limits;
- Mechanical abuse, including opening the case back, unauthorised servicing or repairs, or exposure to strong magnetic fields;
- Damage caused by acts beyond our reasonable control, including misuse or environmental exposure.
1.3 Important Note on Mechanical Watches:
PRECIS watches are precision mechanical instruments composed of intricate components. Excessive shock, improper handling, or exposure to strong magnetic fields may affect timekeeping accuracy. Such effects do not constitute manufacturing defects and are excluded from warranty coverage.
Proof of purchase is mandatory for all warranty claims. PRECIS reserves the right to inspect the product to determine warranty eligibility.
- FIVE-DAY RETURN POLICY (CHANGE OF MIND)
We offer a 5-day return window from the date of delivery for customers who wish to return a product.
2.1 Conditions for Eligibility:
To qualify for a return and refund (excluding shipping charges), the following conditions must be strictly met:
- Unworn and Unused: The watch must be completely unused, unworn, and unadjusted.
- No Alterations: Bracelet links must not be resized, removed, or altered. Any adjustment shall render the product ineligible for return.
- Original Packaging: All original packaging, including protective films, tags, warranty cards, stickers, and boxes, must be intact, complete, and undamaged.
2.2 Return Shipping Costs:
For “Change of Mind” returns:
- The customer shall bear all return shipping costs to our Jaipur facility.
- The original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.
2.3 Refund Processing:
Upon receipt, the product will be inspected by our quality team. If the return conditions are satisfied, the refund shall be processed to the original payment method.
If the watch is found to be worn, resized, scratched, damaged, or missing original packaging, PRECIS reserves the right to:
- Reject the return; or
- Deduct an appropriate amount to account for depreciation or damage.
- DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS
In the rare event that your watch arrives damaged or defective:
3.1 Mandatory Unboxing Video
To process a return, refund, or replacement request for a defective or damaged product, an unboxing video is mandatory. The video must clearly show:
- The sealed package before opening;
- The unboxing process; and
- The condition of the watch immediately upon removal.
Claims without a valid unboxing video may not be accepted.
3.2 Cost and Resolution
If the defect or damage is confirmed:
- PRECIS shall bear the return shipping costs; and
- You may choose between a full refund or a brand-new replacement, subject to availability.
- HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
To initiate a return request:

Email support@precistime.com within 5 days of delivery.
- Subject Line: Return Request – Order #[Order Number]
- Email Body: State the reason for return. For damaged or defective items, attach the unboxing video.
Step 2: Approval
Our team will review your request and, if approved, share return instructions and the shipping address.
Step 3: Ship the Product
Securely pack the watch in its original packaging and ship it as instructed. Share the tracking details via email once dispatched.
